St. Colleen is
passionate about Bordeaux varietals. Not only do they produce amazing Cabernet Sauvignon, the grape most
people associate with Bordeaux, they also make exceptional wines from the other
Bordelaise varietals: Malbec, Merlot, Petite Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.
St. Colleen Wines
|
Cabernet Sauvignon--
This Cabernet Sauvignon can be enjoyed now in its youth or cellared for
several years for additional complexity. |
|
Cabernet Franc--
Cabernet Franc is typically somewhat spicy in aroma
and often reminiscent of plums and especially violets. |
|
Malbec--
St. Colleen's Malbec has firm tannins but is not overly harsh on the palate |
|
Merlot--
This wine is versatile with many types of dishes due to its high fruit
intensity, elegance, and restrained structure. |
|
Petite Verdot-- We have styled this wine to
be a balance between bright fruit and earth notes. |
|
Sauvignon Blanc-- Our Sauvignon Blanc is fashioned in a style
that emphasizes varietal fruit flavors of melon, kiwi, and lemon while
minimizing the grassy/ herbaceous nature of the variety. |
|
Semillon--
The nose is full of aromas of fig, lemon and pear while the
mouth has notes of apricot, quince, peach, honey, and pineapple. |
